03How we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries and providing the services you've requested
  • Scheduling and conducting discovery calls and follow-ups
  • Sending you marketing or transactional communications (email and SMS) that you've consented to receive
  • Improving our Site, services, and marketing

  • Protecting against fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
  • Any other purpose you've consented to

04Email communications & CASL

We send marketing and transactional emails to people who have given us express or implied consent under CASL.

Express consent

You give express consent when you complete a contact or booking form, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise affirmatively opt in to receive emails from us.

Implied consent

We may also email you under CASL's implied consent provisions — for example, if you are an existing client, if you have made a business inquiry within the last six months, or if your business contact information is publicly published and the message is relevant to your role.

What every marketing email includes

  • Clear identification of JP Marketing Associates Inc. as the sender
  • Our mailing address and contact details
  • A prominent, working unsubscribe link

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing [email protected]. We process unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days, as required by CASL.

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages from us, you are consenting to receive text messages related to:

  • Appointment and discovery call confirmations and reminders
  • Replies and follow-ups related to inquiries you've made
  • Service updates and notifications relevant to your engagement with us
  • Marketing communications, where you've separately opted in to those

Message frequency varies based on how you're engaging with us. You will typically receive no more than a handful of messages per month unless we've agreed otherwise.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier and plan. We don't charge for SMS messages; your carrier may.

Opting out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also email [email protected] to request removal.

No third-party sharing of mobile information. No mobile information or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers you provide to us are used solely for our direct communications with you.

Mobile information may be shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver SMS messages on our behalf (such as our messaging platform and carrier partners — see Section 6), and only to the extent required to transmit the message you've consented to receive.

06How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

All service providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the specific purposes we authorize.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our legal rights.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity. You will be notified by email or a notice on our Site.

With your consent

We will share information for any other purpose only with your explicit consent.

07International data transfers

We are based in Canada, but some of our service providers — including Go High Level, Google, and Meta — are based in the United States or other countries. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries outside Canada.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that your information receives a comparable level of protection wherever it is processed, including through contractual safeguards with our service providers.

08Data retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you.
